COUPLE COUNSELLING:
Strengthening Your Connection
Supporting Growth, Balance and Intimacy in Your Relationship
All couples encounter challenges from communication breakdowns and recurring conflict to infidelity and emotional distance. In my couples counselling practice, I focus on supporting the delicate balance between closeness and individuality within your relationship.

Whether you're navigating the pain of betrayal, feeling unheard, or simply drifting apart, counselling can transform these moments of tension into opportunities for healing and reconnection.

REIGNITE YOUR CONNECTION AND MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING

Together, we’ll explore your shared values and relationship goals to help you move forward with renewed trust and clarity. I offer a safe, empathetic space for individuals and couples to better understand themselves and each other, restoring emotional intimacy and building stronger foundations.

Through online and in-person couples counselling in Perth’s northern suburbs, I’ll support you in cultivating a relationship that grows through change, respects individuality, and rekindles emotional and physical closeness.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR
COUPLE COUNSELLING SESSION
When couples seek counselling, they often arrive carrying complex, long-standing issues that can feel difficult to name or resolve. I begin by creating a safe space for both partners to feel heard and understood, exploring the dynamics that shape your relationship and the unique challenges you face.

OPENING THE DOOR TO UNDERSTANDING

To begin our work together, I take time to get to know each of you and the history of your relationship. This foundation allows us to explore the patterns of interaction, spoken and unspoken, that influence how you connect. Sessions move at a pace that feels respectful and safe for both of you.

You can expect thoughtful, compassionate questions designed to deepen awareness and build clarity:

-
What drew you to seek counselling at this point in your relationship?
-
How do you each experience the challenges you’re facing in your relationship?
-
Can you share specific moments or events that have highlighted your issues?
-
What do you each need and hope for, individually and as a couple?
-
How have you tried to address these issues before, and what have you learned?

As we explore your emotional landscape, we’ll begin identifying the relational dynamics, such as communication styles, roles, and emotional responses, that may be keeping you stuck.

SETTING GOALS

Together, we’ll define meaningful goals that reflect your shared hopes and values. These may include rebuilding trust, improving communication, restoring intimacy, or finding clarity about your future. If defining goals feels difficult, I’ll guide the process with care and intention.

Even if your goals differ, learning to navigate those differences with empathy and openness becomes part of the healing. My role is to support both of you in moving from reactivity to reflection, and from disconnection to deeper emotional engagement.
